spread awareness & share our cause regarding title 34

We need your help expressing concern over the severity of proposed City of Wilmington Short-Term Rental Ordinance - Title 34. With it's current verbiage and terms, the proposed ordinance would make it difficult for most hosts to legally operate in Wilmington. We hope to open the door of communication with policy makers to help implement effective guidelines while facilitating shared prosperity. We are heartened to know that voting for this matter has been temporarily paused, but we need ongoing support for when voting commences.

It is important that we communicate our concerns with Title 34 to our friends, family, local businesses and to those who will be voting on the matter -

the 12 City of Wilmington

Council Members!

We trust that our elected officials will make informed and thoughtful decisions regarding this matter and we appreciate anyone who shares support for our organization and small businesses.

Undoubtedly there are more short term rentals available today than in previous years, and with growth requires change. As Title 34 was discussed within our community, it became apparent that it contradicted regulations established for New Castle County. County legislation currently being applied to short-term rentals (on a case by case basis) is confusing and outdated. We are advocating for legislation to be thoughtfully updated and clearly defined at a county and city level.
